Patrick has been an avid sailor since the age of sixteen. He built his first sailing boat a few years later, with which he sailed weekends and vacations in the Mediterranean sea. After spending more than 15 years running his own company, in the domain of home and business alarms, he made a big change of life to devote himself to his passion… sailing. This rapidly took him to a completely new profession.

Patrick and his wife, Pascale, bought a catamaran in the Mediterranean sea 25 years ago to fulfill their dream of sailing. They sailed across the Atlantic Ocean in 1994 and once in the Caribbean discovered the world of charter yachts. They worked as owners, operators, captain, and chef aboard the Lady Anne 2, a 47-foot prestige catamaran in the Caribbean until 2007, at which time they decided to leave for a circumnavigation to discover new unspoiled islands and experience different civilizations.

Pascale, beyond her sailing experience and knowledge of the sea, is a professional gourmet cook who has won accolades for her preparation of Caribbean and Mediterranean specialties. After their circumnavigation, she brought a large range of new dishes and spices to her repertoire. Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are always a special culinary experience aboard Joy.

Patrick and Pascale are well known for their conviviality and professionalism. Patrick will always be present to share with you his knowledge of sailing, to take care of your safety, and to show you the best snorkeling spots! Pascale, an extraordinary chef, patient and lively, will always be there to answer your needs.
